Biographie
John Townley[2] ist amerikanischer Journalist, Plattenproduzent, Interpret von Seemannsliedern und Astrologe. Er schreibt unter anderem für "The Mountain Astrologer" und hat diverse astrologische Bücher veröffentlicht.
Bei Astrodienst sind im Bereich der Gratis Horoskope die Texte des "AstroClick Liebe" von John Townley verfasst.
Townley ist wohl der Astrologe, der das Composit-Horoskop in der heute bekannten Form entwickelte und propagierte (erstmals wurde es bereits von Alfred Witte hergeleitet), er bezeichnet sich selbst als "father of the composite horoscope"[3], sein erstes Werk hierzu, "The Composite Chart", erschien 1973.
