Malefic

Malefic was a term used in classical astrology to refer to Mars and Saturn which were thought to have a harmful influence. There was also further differentiation between the greater malefic (Saturn) and the lesser malefic (Mars). Revised astrology has rejected the concept of benefics and malefics because it is judgemental and deterministic.
