Natal Chart

Synonym: Nativity

Term used for any horoscope from which other horoscopes can be derived, for example prognostic methods such as Astro*Carto*Graphy, Davison Relationship Chart, Composite Chart or Persona Chart. The natal chart is, as it were, the basic chart or starting point for other horoscopes. It is often not possible to interpret these other charts without reference to the natal chart.
