Synonyms: Novile or Nonile

An aspect with an angle of 40 degrees. The novile is generally considered to be a minor aspect and is hardly ever used in horoscope interpretations. It has an orb of 1 to 2 degrees. According to Dane Rudhyar, the novile is a symbol for "the process of pregnancy which enables an idea or form to become organically viable". A novile aspect can signal the end of a particular phase or process and the beginning of a new one. However, a great deal of sensitivity is needed to be aware of this subtle energy. The fact that different terms are used exemplifies the fact that it plays a minor role in general horoscope interpretation.
