A sensitive point in the horoscope. The formula for daytime births is Ascendant + Moon - Venus and for nighttime births Ascendant + Venus - Moon. The point of motherhood (the same formula is also used for calculating the so-called point of friends) has nothing to do with an individual's actual mother. It shows the point in the horoscope which is particularly sensitive to themes such as nurturing, caring, emotional security and the process of letting go. Any aspects to this point from planets will indicate how these energies will be expressed.
