The solar system encompasses the Sun and all the celestial bodies which orbit around it: The nine planets (Mercury, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) together with their Moons; numerous minor planets; comets; meteors, interstellar debris including gas and dust particles.
